For those with medical needs, nursing care is also available.

Additionally, if you or a loved one is considering full-time care, respite care can serve as a trial period, allowing you to assess if our home is the right fit for permanent care.

The duration of a respite care stay depends on the unique needs of each individual, as well as the availability of respite care beds. At Guthrie House Care Home, we have a minimum stay requirement of 3 weeks. This duration allows residents to become comfortable and make the most of our care services.
